How can anthropologists make themselves heard? Do insights from ethnography speak as loud as statistics? What is a government consultation? How important are footnotes and references? How similar or different are the various government departments? How are they changing their relationships with anthropological research and researchers? Anthropologists working in government talk about different ways of communicating with policymakers and what to expect.
