Fagg Library

The WILLIAM BULLER FAGG LIBRARY

We are pleased to announce that the personal library of former RAI Hon. Secretary, W.B. Fagg is housed at 50 Fitzroy Street, and the catalogue is now available online.

W.B. Fagg was an expert in tribal art, particularly that of Africa, and this is the strength of the collection, although it also contains works on other areas of the world, and includes many first-hand accounts of travels. There is a significant collection of catalogues and pamphlets dealing mainly with works of art.

Visits to the Fagg Library can be made by appointment with the archivist archives@therai.org.uk

Visitors are welcome to examine the books, but the Library is strictly reference only, and no borrowing is permitted.
