RAI Publications
The Institute's core activity is publishing international
journals.
The Institute's Journals
The Journal of the
Royal Anthropological Institute is our quarterly, with
articles on all aspects of anthropology, as well as correspondence
and a section of book reviews.
Anthropology Today
is a lively bimonthly magazine aimed at a wider readership
is published every two months, with a special emphasis on topical
issues, films, applied anthropology, controversy, etc.
The best way of keeping in touch with the Institute's
activities is by subscribing to Anthropology Today, which
is available at a most reasonable price for individuals.
Anthropology Today also brings you AnthCal, the Anthropology Today
Calendar of Events, and Vacancy
Link, a pointer at websites where anthropology vacancies may
be found.
Anthropological Index
Online (AIO) is a regionally arranged subject and author
index to periodicals received. It is edited from the Museum of
Mankind Library. Photocopies of articles indexed are available.
It has been developed with the generous support of the William
Buller Fagg Charitable Trust and with the help of the UKC Centre
for Social Anthropology and Computing (CSAC).
Other publications
As well as journals, the Institute publishes an
Occasional Papers Series and Discovering Anthropology, our resource
guide for teachers and students.
Our Film
Catalogue Vol. II is now being made available on-line along
with other ethnographic film resources. Forty carefully
selected films and videos for sale for educational purposes are
to be found in our Video Sales
