The RAI International Festival of Ethnographic Film
The 13th RAI International Festival of Ethnographic Film was taking place in Edinburgh from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 June 2013. It was jointly hosted by National Museums Scotland and STAR, the Anthropology Departments of the Universities of Edinburgh, St.Andrews and Aberdeen. The Festival is cosponsored by the Center for Visual Anthropology, University of Southern California.

The RAI International Festival of Ethnographic Film is held biennially with the first edition held at in 1985. Host institutions in the past have included Leeds Met University, University of Manchester, University of Oxford, University of Durham, University of Kent at Canterbury, Goldsmiths College, SOAS and UCL (London). Offers to host the festival are invited from Anthropology Departments in the UK and Ireland and other bodies interested in hosting this event.
