Bradford District Care Trust is sponsoring a Spiritual & Mental Health Conference Conference Context. There is a growing appreciation of the inter-relationship of Spiritual Well-being and Mental Health.

There are specific concerns about the failure of most Western models of psychological therapy to engage with those from religiously based cultures.

The Conference will offer a unique opportunity to explore diverse perspectives on Spirituality, Religion, and Mental Health and is aimed at encouraging debate on how public health services can be developed to take account of alternative therapeutic perspectives and to be more responsive to user needs.

The conference should appeal to all Health Professionals, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psycho-therapists, Nursing, Careers, Chaplains, Social Workers, Service Users, Religious Organisations and Voluntary Sector Speakers
